A fine, hand shaped mahogany neck constitutes the central part of the FRAME GUITAR. The neck is equipped with an ebony fingerboard and extended to the full length of the instrument.

The FRAME GUITAR is assembled in seconds, by simply attaching two foam rubber covered resonance tubes to corresponding steel pins on the body. The assembled FRAME simulates the size and feel of a ”regular” guitar and provides the FRAME GUITAR with safe support and pleasant touch.

The FRAME GUITAR's reverse-facing headstock allows easy access to high quality SCHALLER machine heads for precise tuning.

Strings are attached to a tieblock/tailpiece located at the upper end of the fingerboard.

A big Volume Control knob is mounted to the upper side of the neck facing the player, easily accessible for quick reaction to various musical requirements.

The battery holder concealed at the FRAME GUITAR's back contains a single 9V battery that feeds the active RMC onboard electronics. The jackplate below is equipped with a standard 1/4” output jack for connection to amplification systems.

Two properly placed strap buttons facilitate the secure use of a shoulder strap, enabling the FRAME GUITAR to be played in a standing position.

Individual RMC string-sensors are responsible for best string-to-string balance and optional MIDI access. The linear working RMC string saddles provide a profound tonal basis and also capture the full range of contour-creating overtones. Due to the RMC pickup's inherent design, unwanted string noise is reduced to a minimum. Together with RMC's state-of-the-art onboard preamps the entire pickup system offers studio quality performance.

Aside from its strong electro-acoustic properties the ”unplugged” FRAME GUITAR presents also a superior instrument for ”silent” practicing in quiet places (a hotel room late at night, for example). The compact and lightweight design and the ease of assembly and disassembly make it furthermore a comfortable instrument for traveling. The FRAME GUITAR is supplied with a gig bag, even small enough to meet airlines' hand luggage requirements.
