The FRAME GUITAR was developed by german luthier Frank Krocker who draws on more than 15 years experience in building high level classical guitars. The whole thing started more or less by chance in 1995, when a customer asked for a high quality classical guitar, of compact design, for performing and traveling purposes. At that time nobody expected the FRAME GUITAR would turn out to become something so exciting! At present the FRAME GUITAR's versatile uses are appreciated by professional guitarists of all musical styles, including many of world's best known and most respected artists. |

With main focus on best electro-acoustic performance the FRAME Works guitar concept concentrates particularly on the specific characteristics of the string's vibration and its precise transformation into audiophile amplified sound. The FRAME GUITAR's amplified sound is extremely natural. Its tone is clear, dynamic and easily shapeable. Due to integrated acoustic chambers and the overall lightweight construction, the mass of the FRAME GUITAR stands in perfect relation to the energy of the plucked string. The FRAME GUITAR has an even and well-balanced response across the entire fingerboard. Sustain and attack are similar to an acoustic guitar. The absence of a real soundbox, on the other hand, prevents the undesired resonance typically to be noticed with any conventional acoustic guitar, especially with amplification. Also because of the FRAME GUITAR's unique design, it is virtually impossible to experience feedback at any volume.
The FRAME GUITAR is the universal solution to the amplification and recording challenges that face every serious guitarist! |
